My One and All: My Swansea Coast
My One and All: My Swansea Coast is a unique exhibition of film-poem On the Sea’s Land (Ar-for-dir) alongside members of the public’s photographic and poetic responses to connection and relationship to the Swansea and Gower coastline.
Originally exhibited at Somerset House, On the Sea’s Land captures poet and Professor in Creativity at Swansea University Owen Sheers’ poetic journey along the Gower Coast, with stunning footage by Benjamin Wigley (artdocs) http://artdocs.co.uk/work/one-and-all
The photographic responses have been submitted by people of all ages and backgrounds from the local community. The poetry has been created and developed through a workshop with Owen, and Creative writing students from Swansea University.
On The Sea’s Land was commissioned by Trust New Art / National Trust and Sound UK and supported by Arts Council England.
